Training with Drupal Easy: Upgrade your local dev environment with DDEV
Mike Anello recently shared why he chose DDEV after looking for a local development environment. Now, he’s going on the road to teach you how to move your local development environment to a more modern solution. In addition to the full-day of training, you’ll also leave with access to the 20+ page workshop handout (PDF) as well as access to all of Drupal Easy’s DDEV-related screencasts.
Can’t make these classes in-person? We’re really excited to tell you we’re partnering with Drupal Easy to run online classes. Sign up to find out as soon as we announce the DDEV online workshops.
One of the things we’ve been so excited to see is that members of the community are demoing DDEV, and sharing DDEV at their local meet-ups.
Drupal meet-up in Birmingham. We’ll meet in the offices of IE Digital in Jewellery Quarter, where we’ve been running a Drupal meetup since January 2018. Richard Sheppard (siliconmeadow) will talk about DDEV.
On Saturday, June 23rd, you can see two talks about using DDEV.
- 11:45 – 12:30 Michael Oehlhof, Start developing for TYPO3 in minutes using DDEV
- 15:15 – 17:30 Jigal van Hemert, ddev: docker made easy
Want to know more about DDEV? Join us and share your experiences on Tuesday, June 26th in Venlo, Netherlands. Randy Fay from our team will be connecting live online to answer questions.
Heather McNamee recently demo’d DDEV at WordPress Belfast on local development environments for WordPress. Next, she’ll be speaking and demoing at Drupal Belfast in July.
Are you using DDEV at any upcoming events? Or maybe giving a DDEV demo at a community meet-up? We’d love to know!
