Kevin Bridges DevOps BADCamp 2018

The theme this year at BADCamp was the greatest show on Earth: a circus full of fun.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our DevOps After Dark happy hour on Thursday evening! It was an amazing event; We were pleased to provide a space for everyone to spread out and have longer conversations with a great group of agency and camp folks.

Panel: Status Update of DevOps Tools for Drupal

The DevOps Summit was fantastic, the audience participated in lots of good conversation, and Kubernetes stole the day! We were pleased to hear a lot of people are thinking about it, especially with regard to hosting providers.

We recently gathered our thoughts around DevOps. If you want to talk more about your organization’s dev-to-deploy workflow and tooling, contact us to find out about our DevOps consulting. We’d love to help.

Monica’s session: End to End Automated Testing with DDEV

Our QA Engineer, Monica Friend, gave a session on how to write and run end-to-end automated tests using Cucumber and Selenium as part of the DevOps summit. Afterward, for a breakout session, she worked with folks showing how to run Drupal’s automated test suites using DDEV. This was her first Drupal event, as she said:

I was pretty blown away by the event! There was such a strong sense of comradery between all the attendees, it felt more like a group of friends came together to just hang out and talk about something they love. I love talking about my craft and it was so fulfilling to educate and discuss testing with such a diverse crowd!
